I appear before the Select Board and try to make our case....

I appeared before the Walpole Select Board on Tuesday, 29 March, 2022 to make the case for funding major renovation of Old Town Hall.
The sound isn't the best...I hope that you can hear it.
By the way, if you feel strongly about this issue, please contact the Select Board directly yourself.
The best way (I believe, anyway) is via USPO written letter. Secondary, via e-mail, to the Select Board Clerk Aoife Kelly: akelly@walpole-ma.gov
Note that two of the select board members were not present.
Also: Please note that I'm emphasizing that significant funding was made for a new playing fields project in Walpole (Rt. 1a, across from Walpole Prison) to the tune of nearly 7 million dollars.
Thanks to all for signing this petition...I don't consider my attempt at full funding the old town hall a success....more like a work in progress. I will say that this petition has put focus on the Old Town Hall once again. People in town are talking about it..and want our Town Center to be revitalized...I think restoration of the Old Town Hall is one way to help with that revitalization.
My main point is that the building needs its original hall restored...unfortunately many years ago, it was sort of "sub-divided" to add office space. A once beautiful open space was converted to offices, hiding the actual multi-story (high-ceiling) open space.
My remarks start at about minute 9.5
Thanks to all of you who signed this petition
