I have changed the recipients of this petition to include the Reno Planning Commission for the upcoming hearing on March 1st. I will change this back to Reno City Council afterwards depending on hearing results. Please continue to get support from neighbors and friends who live in city limits and the neighboring rural communities and ask them to oppose the zoning and masterplan changes being asked for by the developer (although anyone can sign petition). This may make the development less palatable to the developers. Beginning at 09:00 on Friday 2/24/17 you can access the Staff Report by the Community Development Planner Mr. Jeff Borchardt at website below. This is exactly what has been sent to the Planning Commission. Remember: Community Meeting at Pleasant Valley Elementary 2/28/17 6 p.m. Planning Commission Meeting at City Hall 3/1/17 6 p.m. ***If you can only make one meeting please be at the City Hall meeting so your voices can be heard!!!*** Also, If you have pledged money please get it to Judy Coulter ASAP...we will be needing to access funds rather quickly for support.
