To rename a street in Kilbarchan after Mary Barbour

To rename a street in Kilbarchan after Mary Barbour
The Issue
http://marenipolitics.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/petition-to-have-street-renamed-after.html
Mary Barbour (nee Rough) was born on the 22nd February 1875 in the village of Kilbarchan in Renfrewshire.
She is noted as a 'Red Clydesider' and one the leaders of 'Mrs. Barbour's Army' who through rent strikes fought against rent increases in 1915. Mary was the first female Labour Councillor on Glasgow Town Council and as well as being the first woman Bailie on Glasgow Corporation she was also appointed one of Glasgow's first women Magistrates.
By having a street renamed in Mary Barbour's honour would be a constant reminder of the struggles she faced and the victories she has won.
