I first wanted to thank you for being the first one-hundred people to sign the petition. I also got some latest news on what’s next for the Pacific Rim.

Earlier this month, an article speculated that The Black series has opened up a Pacific Rim spin-off series that focuses on Mei and bOy.

That could mean that the next Pacific Rim project may exclude the Travis siblings and their father from participating in this next chapter.

So, the spin-off series might focus on Mei and bOy’s revelations and resolve issues from The Black.

On the other hand, we still need an official sequel series that follows the Travis siblings while delving deeper for answers on the franchise’s lore.
