So despite me being less apprehensive about if Elsbeth gets a S4 than I was about a S3 given this climate you never can be too careful so I'm just reminding every [whatever we're calling this fandom, I saw someone suggest Elsbesties but that just does not sound right] out there about the S3 premiere at a special time tomorrow (and also this Thursday stuff goes back to its regular time)

Sign this petition if you want to make sure Kaya's kept around as much as possible (the petition saying regular is just me door-in-the-face-ing as if that's possible with the actress's schedule it'd of course be ideal but otherwise as-frequently-as-she-could-appear-and-not-be-one looks like a compromise) as shows have temporarily demoted actors before (and I hope Elsbeth will join that list as when that demotion leaves you with two regulars and you have the character emphasize that the Watsonian reason she won't be around all the time is temporary...) and don't drive a permanent wedge in a friendship described as the heart of your show if you value your show's longevity

Sign this petition if you see within said friendship the potential for more/for Elsbeth to do the cliche consultant procedural thing but in as well-written and diverse a way as you'd expect from the Elsbeth writers (and lbr there's evidence there and also Angus isn't really gonna be Elsbeth's endgame if he's an ocean away as between character personality and actor star power I don't see him moving to NYC)

Sign this petition to save the Late Show both because Colbert's shouted out Elsbeth before and so the implied fate of the fictional host of an Expy of it he's playing in tomorrow's S3 premiere doesn't reflect negatively on perceptions of Elsbeth-the-show (as people who didn't see his interview with Wendell Pierce could think that if what I'm thinking happens to his character happens that's proof of some kind of network smear campaign) and so Carrie Preston and Wendell Pierce could keep showing up (and maybe some other stars too like I wish not just that Kaya was still going to stick around enough that Carra could show up but the same for the actresses playing the other lady detectives, y'know, remind people that the actress who plays Edwards isn't that same autistic-coded-monotone in real life)
