As of May 11th 2023, The petition to safe and renew Craig Of The Creek and It's preschool spinoff "Jessica's Big Little World" has reached 900 Signatures. This is a huge milestone in our fight for Animation rights. However, in the recent month, the future of Craig Of The Creek and even Cartoon Network itself is looking very grave.

To Start, In a recent post by Amanda Grace Benitez (Voice of Mariah), The final episode of Craig Of The Creek has officially been recorded and It's ending has been assured. It has been a wild ride, but Craig Of The Creek will end after season 5. We may be losing a great Cartoon Network original, but we can still find a way to save it's spinoff "Jessica's Big Little World".

However, that's just the tip of the iceberg. There have been lots of rumors stating that Cartoon Network as a channel is shutting down and unfortunately, those rumors appear to be true. Corrupt Warner CEO, David Zaslav failed to see the true value of animation is is determined to get WB Discovery out of billions in debt, by completely dismantling Cartoon Network and HBO. He killed all original development and is only interested in making shows based off of IP (Teen Titans GO!, Velma, etc). 

It's disgraceful actions like these that have force all of the writers in Hollywood to go on strike for better working working conditions and a 2% raise. These demands can easily be afforded, but the CEO's are just to greedy to comply. Zaslav claims that a love of working will soon end the strike, but he couldn't be any more delusional, especially since the strike has only lasted a week so far. His hypocrisy is infuriating and he must be brought down. 

Animation is Art, and it's being destroyed in silence. Not only is Cartoon Networks Studios going down as a building, but all of the talent and jobs are going down with it. David Zaslav will not be dissuaded in his efforts to destroy good animation for his own selfish desires. If the writers guild strike can help save Cartoon Network and give original animation another chance, we must help them.

I haven't given up. The stakes are now higher than ever. If we reach tens of thousands of signatures, we stand a better chance. Together, not only can we save the franchise of Craig Of The Creek and Jessica's Big Little World, but also rescue the legacy of Cartoon Network!
