The citizens of Greater Sudbury are NOT interested in adopting the proposed burning permit system for open air burning. Government mandate is to SERVE THE PEOPLE! This is the first i've heard of this burning permit proposal. Very little effort seems to have been made to make this public until now. How about acting like a DEMOCRACY and letting the people vote like it's supposed to be? Another money grab along with porperty and home inspections will not solve anything! CGS council, maybe it's time you guys in that fancy city office have a look at what the people that voted you all in have to say. We're tired of this!!
