Dear CBW resident,

as you maybe aware Right to Manage is hopefully not too far away at CBW. As someone who has worked for that since 2020 I am happy that CBW residents may soon be in a a position to have more control over their service charge money and decisions generally.   For that to happen, it  is important in my view that the Right to Mange company which will hopefully take over after Right to Manage goes through HAS ELECTED DIRECTORS which are accountable to residents. The current directors are not elected and CBWRA has stated it will not hold such elections. This means that the directors are essentially appointed on a crony basis and cannot be removed regardless of their performance or conduct. They have no obligation to consult you and you can't vote them out, as things stand.

So please consider signing my petition which simply ask that the Directors of the Chelsea Bridge Wharf Right to Manage company be elected annually by all eligible leaseholders.

I am standing for Chair of CBWRA in order to ensure that after RTM we move forward in a democratic and well governed manner and that residents' voices are always at the centre of decision-making. That's what RTM is all about!

See my video on why this matters, here - please like comment and share if you feel so inclined.

feel free to get in touch if any questions (residents@chelseabridgewharf.org.uk)

Best Wishes and thanks for your time

Mike O'Driscoll
