Fellow petitioners,

Quick question: how many teams are in the Big 12?

If you said 12… well, you’ve clearly never tried explaining this to your kids, your coworkers, or that one uncle who still thinks Texas is in the conference.

The truth? The Big 12 has 16 teams. SIXTEEN.

It’s like calling a dozen eggs “The Big 12” and then opening the carton to find four bonus eggs rolling around.

That’s why I started a petition to rename the conference to something honest, accurate, and slightly ridiculous:

👉 The Really Big 16.

We’ve already got some amazing traction and I appreciate your support as one of the early supporters, but to really get the attention of fans (and maybe even Elon Musk himself 🚀), we need more signatures. That’s where you come

✅ Forward this email to anyone who still insists 12 = 16

Let’s make history. Or at least, let’s make college football branding slightly less confusing.

Together, we can bring truth to the scoreboard.
