Coverage on CTV News Ottawa
I was elated yesterday to find this news story regarding our petition. Granted in the beginning of the Ukraine war they wanted to rename Charlotte Street after Zelenskyy but we're not here to take Charlotte Street away. Just the embassy's address. Example: 1 Navalny Way.
I thank everyone who signed, shared and promoted this petition by donating your hard earned money to the cause and I couldn't be more gracious of all your generosity.
Let's all hope we can get enough support to take this petition to the city of Ottawa officially through it's legal bureaucratic process and taking this petition to an petition on ourcommons website so we can have an MP sponsor the petition & I would need five supporters names and email addresses in order to make this petition up for going through the legal process of making this happen. I've been in contact with Mr.Yasir Naqvi's office of Ottawa Centre and I am hoping his office can help me further when I submit the petition with five supporters.
With all you wonderful people I'm sure this will turn out in favour of justice for his wrongful death by the Russian state.
