Evening Everyone.
A quick update. Thanks to those that provided feedback on the proposal, I think we’re just about locked away on that for now.
We’ve had some great media exposure - Geelong advertiser, Geelong Times, KRock and Bay FM (I had my 15 mins of fame on the Saturday Property Show!) and over the weekend we’ve also met with some local councillors to discuss next steps. Thanks again to John Hrkac for the introduction and the support - it’s been a great help.
The feedback from our local councillors so far has been very positive. We will be formally submitting the proposal at the next council meeting on the 25th October. It is likely the council will want feedback from the community and most probably run their own petition. I’ll advise what we‘ll need from this group when the time comes but I think we’re in a really strong position so far.
