Just recently due to the wording of the diagnosis and the connotations that it is my interpersonal ineffectiveness and emotional dysregulation that is solely due to my personality that my supposed trauma informed community team used this diagnosis to misperceive that my request for them to stop contacting me as I wanted discharge from their service would actually feel like a rejection. Not only is this them as professionals putting words in my mouth and telling me incorrectly how I feel it also meant they felt it okay to disrespectfully ignore my wishes compared to someone without this diagnosis requesting the same thing would be given respect and acceptance of their wishes as adult with capacity!
