In line with Ozzy’s longstanding support for the LGBTQ+ community, the Ozzy Osbourne Airport campaign was very happy to support Birmingham Pride this weekend. You can see our amazing sign here, please do like, comment and share as it really helps the campaign and get it in front of more eyes.
But does Birmingham Airport support Birmingham Pride?
For context, West Midlands Railway and Metro are highly visible key sponsors and partners of Birmingham Pride - as is the airline TUI.
In a broadly comparable city, Manchester Airport is a brilliant ally to LGBTQ+ people and the headline sponsor of Wilmslow Pride 2026!
I assume I’ve either got this wrong - or that it’s an oversight, but I am surprised to see that BHX does not appear on Birmingham Pride’s list of supporters - given how many LGBTQ+ people both work there and use the airport every day. I was there for a long time on Saturday and saw no BHX presence at all.
It's Solihull Pride in August - given that the airport is based in Solihull, no doubt I will see them there.

(For the record, I made a sizeable donation to Birmingham LGBT Centre - sizeable for me, a self-employed freelancer - evidently, I am not an enormous organisation that just announced £300 million of changes)
