I am reaching out to address a concern that has become quite personal, not only for me but for many parents and students at The English School of Nicosia. Recently, the school has implemented the use of Yondr pouches to restrict mobile phone access during school hours. While the intention behind this decision might be to minimize distractions and encourage academic focus, the implementation has raised several issues that demand reconsideration.

We appeal to The English School of Nicosia to recognize these concerns and reconsider the current phone policy for the betterment of our children’s educational experience and well-being. Please sign this petition to help advocate for an educational environment that embraces both tradition and modernity, allowing our students to thrive in today’s tech-driven society.
