Earlier today the International Judo Federation has announced the suspension of Mr Vladimir Putin’s status as honorary president and ambassador of the IJF. From here, a massive show of gratitude for having take the only and right decision; and thank you to everyone that has contributed to shed light on this. Now, the conflict persists; I hope this initiative demonstrates that as members of civil society we can do what’s in our reach to promote a de-escalation and that peace prevails.
