Please share..... It's time to stop meeting and having discussion within the elite circles of politics. It's time for us to go to street, talk to those with no hope, and see how we can get them to the polls and get engage in their community. I refuse to seat at tables that just talk. Those who been at the table for years and yet our communities have seem little to no change. I have come to realize that sometime elite leaders become so comfortable in their position that they forget to do pulse checks within their community to determine issues that are really affecting the citizens not issues we assume are important to citizens. It's time to reclaim your seat at the table. It's a new day. I have been researching voting trends in my home state of Mississippi among the African American community- in particular the Mississippi Delta, and Southwest Mississippi there are about 165K citizens who no longer come to the polls to vote.
