Meeting - Thursday October 22nd - 7-8pm Greek Community Hall - 4541 Boundary Rd.

Dear Friends, Families, and Neighbours,

We will remove the barriers. Thanks to your support and powerful stories, our petition has smashed past 3,000 signatures.  https://removethebarriers.ca/

These traffic barriers affect everyday life for everyone in every community, not just East Vancouver. We encourage you all, to attend meetings, sign and share the petition and donate directly to our cause to get the message out to all communities. https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/donation-form/donate-to-change-lives-21233 Donate to Change Lives.

The municipal election is behind us, and the new Mayor wants "Bike Lanes on Broadway" and to "convert 11% of Vancouver streets (220kms of roads)" from car to community use that includes more tree canopy, parklets, dog parks and active transportation which is – Cycling, Walking and Rolling.

We are holding the newly elected Mayor and Council, alongside the Engineering and Planning Departments, fully accountable. It is time for staff and politicians to stop working around residents, remove these barriers, and restore common-sense safety and transportation.
