Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since we’ve had any updates on this, I apologize. It’s been an insane summer for me. I do want to share some news with you all. More and more circuits are passing senior divisions! We (my team and I) found out while preparing for our local pride parade that our circuit passed a competitive senior division! You read that right; if you’re in Michigan, the Michigan Color Guard Circuit (MCGC) passed a competitive senior class! It’s extremely exciting and I’m so happy that I’ll be able to march alongside my amazing teammates who are seniors as well. 

This is amazing news. It’s a step in the right direction. The work is not over, though. As more and more circuits pass similar policies, we have to ask WGI what they plan on doing. It’s quite obvious with the amount of senior classes popping up that we want to continue to march and we want to continue to march competitively. We have to keep the momentum going. We have to continue to work and push for WGI to see our vision. 

I ask you all to continue to share. I will be starting prompts back up soon. We’ve had huge accomplishments throughout the summer, let’s try to keep going! Thank you all for your support, I hope to continue to update with good news!
