Remove Robert T Brown from the position of President of the MWA and any and all committees with influence over Chesapeake Bay policy. We demand Governor Hogan appoint a responsible and ethical director to oversee DNR fisheries.

Governor Hogan must be told that the kind of change that Robert T. Brown is asking for is not in the best interest of Maryland, and that we want transparency, fairness and the open conversations which existed under Tom O’Connells term as fisheries director. A fisherman (Robert T Brown) found guilty of smuggling nearly 25,000 lbs of large mouth bass should not control the fate of some of our most important small businesses, and Maryland’s waterman community must stand up and remove Robert T Brown from his position as MWA president. The Restaurant industry, seafood dealers, and honest and hardworking watermen should not stand for his unethical and irresponsible practices. Maryland’s bay and it’s natural resources belong to us all, and we must have fair and open management of them.
