This petition has been set up to demand the removal of horses belonging to, or in the care of Carlie Hopkins and Matthew Douglas King from land at Newgate Lane, Fareham. 

The punishment given to one owner Claire Hopkins was woefully inadequate in our opinion and the horses remaining are in real danger over time of becoming the next victims. 

There is historical evidence of neglect at the field and this must not be allowed to happen again. There have been scores of visits by RSPCA and other agencies over many years and yet still the family is allowed to keep horses.  This is unacceptable in a civilised society. 

We request  that you use all powers under the Animal Welfare Act to remove these horses 'in a situation likely to cause suffering'.
