Dear Petition Signers,
If you are getting this email, we know you are concerned about the leadership of Dr. Ayinde Rudolph as Superintendent of the MVWSD school district.
If so - WE NEED YOU TO TAKE ACTION, TODAY. It will only take a few minutes of your time.
The MVWSD School Board is voting tomorrow on whether to renew Dr. Rudolph's contract for another 4 years. In the absence of any feedback from the community, they are likely to vote in favor of renewal.
The strange thing is that they are voting on the renewal almost 1 year before his contract expires (which happens on June 30, 2025). They are only required by law to make a decision 45 days in advance of expiration. Why are they rushing to renew his contract almost 1 year in advance?
We URGE you to email to the trustees and ask them: why is the Board rushing the decision to renew the Superintendent contract?
Also - in your email, please consider making one or more of the following requests to the Trustees.
- Please solicit input from the entire MVWSD community before making a decision to renew the Superintendent's contract. This decision affects all of us.
- Please defer the decision on the Superintendent's contract until later in the year (after you have community input).
- Please consider that 12 years is too long a tenure for any one superintendent. We need periodic changes in leadership to foster innovation thinking and a fresh approach to problem solving.
You can make these points (or any other points) in your own words.
Please email the Trustees TODAY at: trustees@mvwsd.org
Again, it will only take you a few minutes. Your letter does not have to be very long or polished. Simple and straight to the point works just fine.
Thank you so much for taking action.
