I understand and appreciate the concern surrounding the Deputy you mentioned. As a County Board Member I am not directly involved with employee discipline, nor should I be. There are various processes in place depending on the employee’s position. Some are dictated by state statute, some by internal policy, and others by collective bargain agreement. I trust that if an employee should be let go, they will be once the process is allowed to play out. I believe that my role in this is to ensure the we follow proper process and to make changes to process when needed.
