Update # 2.
Please join in the effort to seek the removal of this unethical individual from the professional panel of Broward Court and to pursue her disbarment from legal practice.
The petitioner/father has filed several formal complaints against attorney KEMIE LINDSAY KING, who was appointed as Guardian Ad Litem in his child custody case by General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods. He raises serious concerns about Kemmie Lindsay King's lack of professionalism, integrity, and impartiality, detailing distressing incidents since her appointment on September 22, 2022.
The father, initially optimistic about an assessment of his relationship with his child, was soon disillusioned. He recounts Kemmie Lindsay King's repeated unresponsiveness and her failure to make promised visits, despite his payment of a retainer fee and his acquiescence to her demands for luxurious gifts, such as Chanel perfumes, in hopes of expediting the process.
He explains how Kemmie Lindsay King's actions appeared biased in favor of the child's mother (a licensed Florida attorney practicing in Broward Courts) and his efforts to comply with her requirements and facilitate her evaluations. He emphasizes her unprofessional and intrusive conduct during visits, her biased communication, and her neglect in conducting a welfare check on his child.
The father also notes an instance after inspecting his house where Kemmie Lindsay King implied she would provide a favorable report in exchange for a Chanel purse from Bal Harbour shops.
Moreover, he points out Kemmie Lindsay King's failure to produce a written report, her lack of responsiveness to his concerns, and her failure to inform him of significant events, such as the mother relocating the child. He underscores the lack of consideration for a new law effective July 1, 2023, assuming equal timesharing for unwed fathers.
The father asserts that since her appointment, Kemmie Lindsay King has not acted in the child's best interests and has displayed corrupt, biased, and negligent behavior. He regrets the support Kemmie Lindsay King showed for both General Magistrate Woods and the child's mother in the custody dispute.
It's important to note that Kemmie Lindsay King has been discharged from this ongoing case.
