Our demands are being met. But we're not done.

When this petition started, we asked for three things. Here's where they stand:
✅ An independent review of how Cornell handles sexual assault. Cornell has agreed to an independent review of its handling of this case, after Governor Hochul called for one. The Attorney General's office is also reviewing Cornell's response.
⚖️ Justice for Jane Doe. Governor Hochul appointed Attorney General Letitia James as special prosecutor, taking the criminal case away from the local DA.
❌ Accountability at the top. President Kotlikoff is still in office.
And we're adding one more: Chi Phi's Cornell chapter is shut down, but its charter is only "dormant," which means it can be reactivated. We're calling on Chi Phi's national organization to permanently revoke it. Chapters have lost their charters at Cornell before. This one should never come back.
A special thank you to the 43 people who paid to promote this petition. Your generosity is a big reason we're at 2,300+ signatures.
If you have a moment, leave a message of support for Jane Doe in the petition comments. We're hoping to share them with her.
Keep sharing, and email the Board: trustees@cornell.edu
