As a student at Chaguanas North Secondary School, I am deeply concerned about the leadership of our principal, Bonnie Bissoon-Gosine. The students and MANY teachers have repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with her leadership style. It is widely felt that she does not take into consideration the opinions of others, valuing only her own perspectives, which is negatively affecting the school environment and will affect the student's learning and slowly ruin this noble institution later in the future if this continues.

My own teacher has bravely shared her views with us, advising that both students and their parents take action. She feels powerless to voice these concerns to higher authorities due to the risk of jeopardizing her job or facing other repercussions. Back in 2022, a similar petition was put in place regarding this same situation meaning it is unresolved and this can be proven with a simple Google search.

Feel free to share your experience with Ms.Bissoon-Gosine and if you personally think she is a good leader, this is a safe space and also will be used for educational purposes and to help share the opinions from students and even teachers who are afraid to speak up.

A survey has been put in place regarding this situation just to get back some feedback from some of the student's and maybe some teacher's.
