Additional Note (Escalation Due to Continued Inaction)

Despite our earlier petition, no action has been taken by either BMC or MPCB. The situation has further deteriorated.

Recent photographs taken by residents clearly show:

Open piles of garbage lying directly on the road, creating active mosquito-breeding spots.

BMC garbage trucks parked haphazardly along narrow pedestrian areas and under the flyover.

Leaking waste, foul odour, and stray animals feeding on garbage, indicating serious sanitation lapses.

School children and commuters forced to walk through these unhygienic conditions daily.

This continued neglect poses a direct public health hazard, especially during a time of rising vector-borne diseases.

We therefore urgently reiterate our demands for:

1. Immediate relocation of all garbage trucks from Wadala 4 Lane.

2. Immediate cleaning and disinfection of the entire area.

3. Prompt MPCB inspection for environmental and public health violations.

4. Strict accountability to ensure that public roads and school zones are not misused again.

Every day of delay increases the danger to children, residents, and the community at large.

This issue now requires immediate and decisive action.
