We, the citizens of Wadala, refuse to accept our neighborhood being turned into a dumping ground. The continuous parking of garbage trucks at Wadala 4 Rasta (Rak Road area) has made life here unbearable and dangerous for public health.
Garbage Trucks Blocking Roads: Long lines of trucks are permanently stationed on this residential stretch, turning it into a truck depot.
Stench & Waste Leakage: These trucks emit unbearable smells and leak foul waste liquid directly onto our roads.
Disease Breeding Ground: The stagnant waste has made this area a hub for mosquitoes, spreading dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. Children walking to school here are especially at risk.
Public Nuisance & Safety Hazard: Residents, pedestrians, and schoolchildren cannot even walk safely on these roads or footpaths.
This is not just inconvenience – it is a violation of our right to live in a clean and safe environment
We request you to kindly
Remove garbage truck parking from Wadala 4 Rasta and relocate trucks to a proper depot, away from residential and school zones.Strict monitoring of garbage trucks to prevent leakage of waste liquids
Regular cleaning of the affected roads to restore hygiene.Wadala residents are choking on garbage because of BMC’s negligence. We demand urgent action – our homes are not your dumping yard.
Please sign and support this petition so that our collective voice forces accountability. Together, we can reclaim Wadala from the stink.
