Dr Issarang Nuchprayoon, MD, PhD, Diplomat, Board of Hematology and Advisor to the Thai National Red Cross announced on 22 February 2023 that previously deferred Donors from the United Kingdom, France and Ireland are Welcomed back to donate in Thailand. The vCJD (mad cow disease restrictions) have been removed. Please allow the Thai Red Cross proper time to coordinate the change throughout their organization, with the blood banks and the staff. The Thai Red Cross will make a formal announcement. Thank you for support. Our next step is to spread awareness of the importance of donating blood regularly in Thailand, with special attention to Rh-Negative. We will need continued advocacy for a radical change in the Expat Population.. We give the Gift of Life through Donations and our Advocacy.
