To all supporters of Newcastle United,

Many of you would like Mike Ashley to sell Newcastle United and disappear back into the anonymity of his Sports Direct empire. That's ultimately well intentioned, however, Mike Ashley is only going sell this club when it's financially beneficial (or necessary) for him. That time does not appear to be in the near-future.

There's another man dragging this club down and we all must turn our attention and energy towards him. Alan Pardew must be removed as manager of NUFC.

There are a seemingly infinite number of statistics that can be trotted out to show how he's failing at his job and his CV only strengthens the claim as he shouldn't have been appointed in the first place. His successes here have largely been the result of incredible scoring runs by Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse, and Loic Remy. Without a clinical and in-form striker his "tactics" are exposed. He has no idea how to properly deploy attacking players like Hatem Ben Arfa and, despite his supposed defensive nous, NUFC have lost by three-plus goals five times since Christmas. Current form has seen defeats in 10 of the last 14 matches and a failure to score in 10 of those. 

It's clear he's lost the support of his players, he's embarrassed the club on multiple occasions, he has less ambition and more excuses than any manager in recent memory, and he consistently talks down to the fans who spend their time, energy, and money supporting this great club.

The chances of Mike Ashley seeing this petition are slim. However, a significant number of signatures could draw the attention of newspaper writers, who have the ability to amplify the voice of supporters. It could also unite the growing number of dissenters against Alan Pardew, who may find other ways of protesting. If nothing else, it might make you feel better.

Please sign this petition if you feel Alan Pardew should be removed from his position as manager of Newcastle United Football Club.
