The PM Scott Morrison has declared the 2019 budget will be on April 2nd.
There have been a few minor but important changes to the petition and the letter you sign to reflect the focus on having the GST removed in the next budget.
The campaign to have the GST on Remedial Massage and other Soft Tissue Therapies removed in this budget now starts in earnest!
Time for renewed efforts to gather signatures, but also to lobby via email both the Coalition and the ALP and to ask them what their position is.
The previous proforma letter to the Prime Minister, Treasurer and Minister of Health has been modified and is shown below with an email list. If you could please send it to these decision makers it would help.
Likewise, there have been a few changes to the email to the ALP, also shown below, with the emailing list....
The first is to the Coalition. The emailing list is:

Title:
Removal of GST from Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy in the 2019 Budget
Contents:
Dear Scott, Michael, Josh, Greg and Ken
I write to you in your capacities as Prime Minister, Leader of the National Party, Treasurer, Health Minister and Indigenous Health Minister.
I would like to lobby your party to remove this unfair GST impost on a part of the health profession in the 2019 Budget in April
The petition, link attached, still in its infancy, already has over 2,500 signatures.
The signatories to the petition think it is time for both sides of politics to review this unfair tax before the next election. What better way to show your stance than by dealing with issue in the 2019 Budget.
What is your party's policy on this matter?
I look forward to your response.
