Dear friends The petition now has 6,000 supporters! We are most grateful for your support and prayers! There is still much work to be done. In January 2017 the Church Council will meet to consider proposals for what to do about the Judensau - to remove it, replace it, add further explanatory signs, or leave it as it is. We have been invited to make proposals for the church to discuss, and will make these available shortly. Please pray that this matter will be properly addressed, and that something significant and visible will be done to repent of the past, reconcile in the present and restore relations for the future between Lutherans and Jews, in this significant 500th anniversary year. Please circulate the petition to others. It would be great to have 10,000 signatories by June 2017, and to keep the petition going until the Judensau is removed.
