Email from Council

Hello everyone, 

Today I received an email from Council, copy and pasted below,

" I refer to your request for support in your efforts to persuade Telstra to relocate the public telephone booth 

The Telecommunications Act 1997 is commonwealth legislation, rendering Council with no power and depending upon influence.

Nevertheless, Telstra has been advised that the Mayor supports your proposal for the public phone booth to be relocated and the reason why."

In  few days I will close this petition. I will call Telstra  and let them know about the amount of people who, like me, want the phone booth relocated.
