Overnight, the Religious Discrimination Bill passed the lower house after Labor revealed it would vote for the Bill (with some proposed amendments). That means the Bill is now headed to the Senate.

The Senate vote is our last chance to stop the Bill. Right now is when your Labor and Coalition Senators need to hear from you - tap here to send them an email

Labor wants to remove the ‘statements of belief’ clause from the Bill, but that’s not going far enough to protect vulnerable Australians.

The ‘statements of belief’ clause is one of the more terrifying aspects of the Bill, but it’s not the only troubling element. This Bill is still a sword, not a shield and we simply can’t deliver protections for some people of faith at the expense of others.

That’s why you must let Labor and Coalition Senators know you still want them to oppose this Bill. Tap here to send an email and have your voice heard.

In just a few days, 1,200 of us delivered over 15,000 inbox hits to lower house MPs and Senators. And it had a huge impact! Liberal MPs like Bridget Archer and Trent Zimmerman crossed the floor, and Labor is “insisting” on its Senate amendments.

When we raise our voices as one, decision-makers in Canberra cannot ignore us.

Today, can use your voice again to stand with women, people with disabilities, LGBTIQA+ people, and minority faith groups?
