Dear All,
Our petition is very close to the first milestone of 5K signatures and a few hundred signatures away from it. We are gradually getting noticed. Another media outlet covered our story today.
You can contribute to improving the visibility and signatures in whatever manner. Many people have sponsored it and so far collectively contributed more than 12K so far till 22 July 2023. Some RWAs are now connecting with us for some next steps. We intend to connect with all RWAs across the country toward a common cause. Let our petition be the common thread and our resolve to balance the laws for equal treatment of humans and animals be our common concern. We want empathy in the true sense to prevail.
Meanwhile, we request you all start exploring multiple options.
Those are:-
1. How we can increase our signatures. We are targeting 10 million.
2. How we can connect with more media outlets?
3. How can we engage with the government to frame balanced rules which is a win-win for all?
4. How can we engage society more and request for a safer environment?
5. How can we ask courts to take Suo Motto cognizance of the skewed laws that have ambiguity?
