With those funds, we can do some advertising in Vancouver to highlight the situation of renovictions and demovictions. The TRPPs that the City of Vancouver uses to issue building permits are not serving the tenants they were meant to protect and the city knows that. We need to band together and hold the city of Vancouver and the double-dealing developers to account.
Now on to the offer..... We have rejected the latest offer from Reliance and the City of Vancouver. It contains 3 options. The first of them is not even an option they can give us, it is our legal right. We object to framing that as an offer to settle this broken agreement with. The other two are a little better than a depraved joke. I can not talk about them as per our legal terms. So the fight goes on with us asking for a face to face meeting and them, Jon Stovell & Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart refusing to even talk with us. Seems they prefer to just talk at us.
