We are overwhelmed by your support. We expected a few hundred signatures, but now have almost 1,400 people signing the petition and still growing! 

The families have now received official notification of their 15-day "administrative detention", which means they will spend Christmas and New Year in detention.

While we are comforted by any information about them, there is a strong likelihood that Xiangzi's "administrative detention" could turn into "criminal detention" that allows Xiangzi to be detained for longer and opens the door for criminal prosecution, similar to many other Chinese labor activists detained in the last few years.
