The Silent Hill series has always had killer, well produced and composed soundtracks, with a multitude of genres. Some songs have vocals and lyrics, whilst some are instrumental ambient pieces. Each soundtrack is roughly around an hour, so they are classed as albums. All have been released on CD, mainly in Japan. These CD's are hard to find now, unless you are willing to pay £60 for a copy, or, £30, for a bootleg. As it is 2015, the vinyl trade is booming. Now is the time for Akira Yamaoka to team up with Konami, to release the Silent Hill soundtracks on vinyl. Imagine, fog grey vinyl for Silent Hill 2. Blood red vinyl for Silent Hill 3. Some basic examples. Then there's the profit, as Konami were the producers of the soundtracks (Discogs) they just need a label to press it, and get it out there. There are over 50 people already that have signed, the standard price of a vinyl LP today is around £20/$20 - over 50 people spending £20/$20 on a copy is over a thousand pounds/dollars, money, money, money.
