Happy New Year to you, Dear Friends! ⠀
It was an unforgettable year. On the New Year’s eve of 2018, each of us made one and the same wish - that all orcas and belugas be freed from the “whale jail”.
We all made tremendous efforts to make this wish come true and organized a large-scale public campaign for the release of animals: ⠀
public actions, protests, hearings;
appeals to all state authorities, the prosecutor's office, the investigative committee and the police;
complicated court cases where we proved the illegality of quotas for capture of orcas and belugas;
millions of signatures under various petitions;
thousands of letters and calls to the President and the Government of the Russian Federation;
hundreds of posts and tens of thousands of reposts;
constant publications in the media. ⠀
And at the end of the year we did the impossible again and collected 100,000 at the ROI petition ( the official government website petition) to ban captures of cetaceans. ⠀

We thank everyone who participated in this campaign!
