Hello Super Supporters!

I still feel like I am pinching myself to wake me from this dream! I cannot believe that I was asked to appear on ‘This Morning’ with Philip Schofield and Rochelle Humes! I was then contacted Steve Farrell from ‘The Grocer’ who is writing an article hopefully being published this week about the advert and petition and tonight I have pre-recorded an interview with ‘Euronews’ *pinch me again*.

I have spoken to Day centres and teachers today about how they are using the advert to raise awareness of deforestation, orangutans and educating them on the rainforest. I have had messages from people all over the world which is great!

Clearcast released a statement today and I feel we need to also involve Ofcom and Advertising Standards Agency in our messages and emails as Clearcast are saying that it is them that has the power and one way I think we can do this is through ‘Letters to Santa’ which I saw today by @kaaattttiieee.

If I could therefore ask you (or your children) all to write a letter to Father Christmas asking that Rang-tan get on TV, upload the photo onto your social media and use the following strapline to share it:

"So my child has watched the banned TV Advert from @IcelandFoods and we have written a letter to Father Christmas @_mark_topps @Ofcom @ASA_UK @Clearcast‏ @rangtanforest #NoPalmOilChristmas #FatherChristmasLetter #ourfutureleaders"

You may want to post your letters to Ofcom here too! Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Rd, London SE1 9HA

Thank you again and please continue to share share share!
