The Issue

There has been an injustice done to emotional support dogs in Chinle, Arizona. Many emotional support dogs assigned to provide assistance and comfort to our fellow citizens have been unfairly detained in shelters. A large number of these dogs have been deemed 'dangerous' without proper procedural or plausible grounds. This dire situation not only harms animals but their emotionally dependent owners as well, leaving them without the much-needed support.

Last year alone, there was an injudicious increase in the detainment of emotional support dogs in Chinle, Arizona (National Center for Assistance Animal Services). These animals fill an essential role in the lives of people suffering from stress, anxieties, and other mental health challenges.

We urge the relevant authorities to immediately take a progressive step to address this predicament. Targeted actions should be put in place to review the cases of these detained emotional support dogs and potentially retrieve their freedom. The integrity of our human support system and the rights of these dutiful animals are of utmost importance.

It's time we restore the bond between these trusted companions and their rightful owners! Please, show your support by signing this petition to liberate all unjustly held emotional support dogs in Chinle, AZ Shelters.
