City Council is set to meet this week for budget discussions including the proposed police budget. In preparation, we have one more ask for you leading into this week: could you please take 5 minutes to write a personalized email asking your city councillors to oppose VicPD’s 2026 budget increase, and reallocate those funds to community supports and services. 

We have a template letter on our website. If you use the template, try to include examples of community supports and services where you’d like to see money spent instead.
