Anderson County council trying to sneak a $25 million bond tonight! go ask for referendum!

You'll have to pay off this bond via higher taxes it you don't get it on a referendum to vote on.

A good friend and steward of Anderson County reminded me to post the info about the Special County Council meeting they are having Thursday, June 20 to hear our feedback and ultimately vote for the $25M sewer bond. I believe we should oppose it because it’s going to create a problem that we will have to solve with more dense housing and higher taxes and fees. Minimally, please show up and ask for a Referendum on a ballot for the County taxpayers to approve. Here is the notice. .. if you have time, please consider speaking for your 3 Minute allotment on Thursday evening.
