First I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to share their voice here! Secondly, please read the updates below in full as they have important information about this petition and the outcomes of the recent Town Hall.
Update 1: this petition will be taken down by tomorrow, Sunday June 28, 2026 and I would like to ask that you sign the Stop the Data Centre @ Lisgar GO petition instead as the City of Mississauga does not accept change.org petitions. Also, please take a moment to sign the moratorium petition lead by Ward 2's Alvin Tedjo here.
Update 2: the Town Hall on Thursday went really well with a turnout of over 200 people there was a huge and Councillors from Ward 9, 7, and 2 have announced they will be voting against the facility based on the ongoing petition, the town hall's turnout, and understanding that Prologis' proposal is too vague to guarantee the safety of residents. They have also decided to develop a moratorium proposal to pause any AI data centre approvals for one year.
