📢 STONE MOUNTAIN RESIDENTS: YOUR VOICE MATTERS!

Tomorrow night, Monday, October 19, at 6:30pm the Planning Commission will consider a rezoning proposal affecting the Lawn on Main.

If you oppose building a hotel on our downtown green space, please attend and speak during public comment!

🌳 Something to consider: The city's green space zoning protections exist for a reason. Why should we rezone publicly owned green space to accommodate development that its current zoning is intended to restrict?

Other questions worth raising: What happens to our mature trees, nearby residential streets, and the community's long-term access to this public space?

You don't need a prepared speech. Just show up, speak from the heart, and ask commissioners to protect the Lawn on Main.

Our public green space deserves a public voice. Tell commissioners and council to vote NO on rezoning. Please be there! 🌳
