In Support of our Sanitation Workers
Hi Friends!
It's been a long year of working together through emails, yard signs, media coverage, Town Hall and City Council meetings to get City Hall to finally amend their universal alley to curb transition plan. While we are largely grateful for the outcome, we would ask in this time of City furloughs that we remember and appreciate the actual Sanitation workers and the job they do for us each week.
If you are so inclined, please place some cold drinks, snacks or some token of appreciation out for the workers this week with a note of gratitude. They've always been supportive of keeping trash pickup in the alleys and off our public streets. This was never their fight!
Once again, thank you to everyone....together we made a big difference!
