Thanks to the outstanding support of the local community, we WON by 3 out of the 5 Town Council (Mayor, tie breaker) voting to reject this development!

We won...BUT...
Its abundantly clear we must remain vigilant and make a CLEAN SWEEP of the current council & mayor in the upcoming elections.  In addition, planners require more vetting.  This project should have NEVER come out of planning and certainly not even been a question of whether Council would approve.

Of Specific Note:
Howie:  Voted "No" however rationale was because of the brewery.
Perryman:  Voted "No", however his rationale was because of the 'park'
Horn:  Voted "no", rationale not stated (we need to find out).
Pruitt & Propst:  Voted "yes" as expected.

We got the right outcome but for the WRONG REASONS!  Clearly, these folks aren't representing the vast majority of Weddington residents!  Keep the 'status quo'!!!
