Just wanted to post an update and say thank you to everyone who’s signed and shared the petition so far! 250 signatures is more than I thought we’d be able to get, but with our updated goal of 500, we’re just a little over that number and halfway there! 

I’m sure anyone who’s signed is very likely already aware, but this month John Cale announced his brand new album MERCY (dropping 1/20/23) and with it released a brand new single featuring Weyes Blood! It will be his first album of all-new material since 2012’s Shifty Adventures in Nookie Wood. 

What better time to have all of John’s albums available to stream than now? With enough voices and demand, perhaps the right record executives and decision makers could see this petition and restore his discography.
