Following engagement from a large number of parents and your support with this petition (getting 372 signatures in just over 24 hours) Kirkby Stephen Grammar School and Cumbria Education Trust have reversed the decision to remove the GCSE Triple science option from the curriculum

This is great news for all those about to start studying for their GCSEs as KSGS and those who will be in future years.  Whilst we feel it should never have even been tabled we appreciate that the school have listened to the feedback and made the correct choice to give pupils an equal opportunity to those in other schools throughout the country.
