UC Davis Released Internal Compliance Audit: WE NEED YOUR HELP

The university released the results of their internal compliance audit yesterday, and confirmed that there were serious financial issues but said the decision to eliminate the Women's Equestrian Team still stands. They claim this is a financial decision while simultaneously paying over 10 million to move into a new conference that also comes with a hefty pay raise for the Athletic Director...and rejecting our donor money to fund the team.

We are heartbroken. And we need your help.

What we believed was a fight involving one individual and one team has revealed itself to be something much larger - a battle against a system with no meaningful oversight or accountability. That system is willing to sacrifice the futures of 50 women athlete to protect its own interests and financial gain.

Please email the administration and let them know that we will not give in.

SUBJECT: Reinstate the  3-Time Championship Women's Equestrian Team 

BODY:  Your internal compliance audit identified serious errors in the narrative that was used to destroy the futures of 50 women athletes.  Rocko DeLuca stated that this decision was based on a 3rd party report that we now know was not complete and did not contain the information he claimed it did. 

That fact alone should be sufficient to reverse this decision.

We stand with the women's team and will not give up this fight.
