I, like many others, have found myself severely affected by the discontinuation of the Savannah to Charleston Greyhound Bus route. I travel frequently for work and to visit my significant other, but since the bus line has been cut, the inconvenience has been overwhelming. The only alternative is the Amtrak service which runs at either 7am or 7pm, instead of the former bus schedule which allowed for departures at 11:50am or 3:00pm. The current situation is more than just a mere inconvenience, it is completely upending for countless individuals who relied on this service for their day-to-day activities.

According to a report published by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), "Greyhound Lines, Inc., is the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in the U.S., serving more than 3,800 destinations across the nation". Yet, crucial routes like the Savannah to Charleston one have been axed, causing immense strain on many customers' lives.

The discontinuation of this vital bus service is more than just a disappointment, it is a fundamental disruption to the lives of many. I urge all who have been or could be affected by this to join the call in asking Greyhound to reinstate the Savannah to Charleston route. Please, sign our petition.
